Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

@ blackdoor

i have used all of your ROMS.  i just have several questions and suggestions though.  Are you into modifying the OS's UI?  Like applying several HTC eyecandy goodness such as the HTC calendar, and NEW appointment, HTC audio manager, Dialer, Comm manager and so on?  Just to refresh our flames.  If i only have the knowledge, i will help you out guys with this.  thanks for your hardwork and waiting for your response.

@sparda01:
It's very difficult for me to add HTC Comm Manager and Manila into my ROM. I've tried to do that for many times but not success now.

Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

It doen't work. Wi-Fi not starts, only if activated first in stock Wireless Manager. If you really want HTC looks, you can skin the stock manager. You need Reshack or Restorator, new birmaps and free time.

Imho, HTC software sucks. Specially Manila/Sense.

@blackdoor

I found that music is skiping when new MS lockscreen is active. On latests build is less than others. It's very annoying. It happends on WMP and CorePlayer.

Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

I just came accros this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos … ount=11508.
Sound interestnig. Specially that build 24001 is fastest. It looks like MS has stop to work on 6.5 and the latest build is 21891, some people said that there is 219xx.

Anyway I would like to see the latest 6.5 and 6.5.3 24001. What you thinking about that, blackdoor?

For best battery life i recommend 21889 or 28205 both by blackdoor. If you're using BT headset you'll need reg edit for every ROM for Flame, even from Cotulla.
You can also active old wm6.1 lockscreen by using SmartLock app. Probably music stops skipping.

Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

To improve BT audio first you have to install Mal Loth's Blue Ears.cab, this is a must have. Next go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Settings and delete BitPool key (leave only UseJoint Stereo in this folder if you want). I'm not sure but if you set NoRoleSwitch to "0" (in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway) the music skips will be reduced.

I've already made 24001 and 21891 ROM. I'd like to wait Nikhil's help to fix GPRS problem. After that I'll release them.

Great to hear that. Is 24001 as fast as that guy from xda-devs said?

Btw, Nikhil doesn't answer my mail too.

Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

Dear Blackdoor. When you release your next ROM, can you make the option to release it with and also without Comm Manager skin as you made for ROM 28205. I am experiencing the issue not able to use wifi. Wifi keep searching only. Please... I want to try your next ROM. Now after back and forth flashing other ROM, I conclude to use your ROM 28205 since I can use all feature (GPRS, WIFI). Thanks in advance Blackdoor. As you mentioned that you have release ROM 24001 why don't you publish first? We can use additional Nikhil cab to activate the GPRS...

Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

@blackdoor
Faizalr has the point. Since your ROM has dsuu support we can place nikhil.cab in extROM (It's easier to edit txt files on PC). I can provide clean extROM txt files for dsuu.exe if someone need.
Anyway, I am patiently wainting for your ROM. The battery drain and speed is more important for me than Internet connection.

Re: [WM6.5] Blackdoor Rom from Pdaviet.net

@URSUS2400:
I'm testing on 21891, 24001 and 23529. Maybe I'll release them on tomorrow or on Monday.
I agree with you: we can install Nikhil's CAB via DSUU or copy it to ExtROM and edit txt file in it.

@Blackdoor. Another request for your next ROM. Can you enable mass storage for our flame as this is also basic requirement to enhance our flame utilization. Thank you Blackdoor for your effort.
