Guys,
pdadb.net states ( http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=673 ) the Flame has VGA output. As the GF 5500 is capable of XGA (1024*768) output, are they wrong? That is, is it XGA and not "just" VGA (640*480) unlike on, say, Qualcomm-based devices like the i-mate 9502? Did anyone ever test this feature?

Never mind - I've found the related threads ( http://xdaflameusers.com/viewtopic.php?id=356 and http://xdaflameusers.com/viewtopic.php?id=264 ) - yes, it's plain analogue TV out indeed (no high-res, quality XGA output, unlike in the newer, GF 5500-based i-mate's)

hi menneisyys it is very pleasure to see you in our forum. I learned "pocket pc" from you in my first pda FS Loox 720 forum "FirstLoox" and I am stll reading your blog everyday.
Now I am watching the same movie that happened to 720, I wait a nearly a year to get a upgrade for my loox and at last FS said there is a technical problem so they couldn't make an upgrade.
We all waiting and fighting for an upgrade for our Flame now. It is out of your topic you opened here but as an expert on pocket pc's what do you think about our situation and what should we do ?

Thanks for the kind words ![]()
It seems ROM cooking is the only way to go as device manufacturers, in general, don't pay attention to customers.

hi menneisyys, we and myg900 forum started petitions to get working GoForce 5500 drivers for our products. I did a little research on user forums and i find drivers for i-mate 8150 / 6150 and EM-ONE is not working also. As you said device manufacturers don't pay attention to customers single demands. It is time to work together maybe they will hear our shouts
